 Controllers and Pilots,

 

      My name is Salvatore Barcia and I am ZMA's new Events Coordinator. It is and honor to be a staff member here at the Miami ARTCC. I will try my best as EC here at ZMA. My two main goals are to make controllers enjoy themselves with heavy traffic loads and for pilots to return to ZMA.  Miami ARTCC Tracon Tuesday's

 

    ZMA will be providing full atc services every Tuesday night for the month of August. Every Tuesday night we will feature a specific tracon in ZMA with spotlight airports.The spotlight airports are where you are most likely guaranteed to have local services (TWR,GND,DEL). Details are below.

August 31st Miami Tracon                     Spotlight Airports- KMIA, KFLL

 

 

 

 

 The Miami ARTCC will be starting a new annual event. Cross the Gulf will be similar to CTP, but the event crosses the Gulf of Mexico instead. Each year there will be one eastbound leg and one westbound leg. Miami will try and provided a booking system for pilots. Your not going to want to miss this!
